Using Kia Pay

With the Kia Pay service, you may quickly make a purchase at a connected fueling station, charging station,or parking garage or lot without using a real credit card..

On your smartphone, download the Kia Pay App, and then register for the service. See "Using the Service" for more information.

•Verify that the payment service is registered with both your car and your credit card.

To register the automobile and credit card for the payment service, utilise the Kia Pay app. Please refer to "Selecting the Vehicle for Payment" and "Registering a Payment Card."

Examining user profile preferences

Log in using the user profile that is attached to your Kia Connect service account. Check out "Kia Connect Account (if available)."

Only automobile models and credit cards that enable Kia Pay can use the service. However, automobiles bought abroad are not eligible for the Kia Pay service.

On the Kia Pay screen, select User's Manual on Web (QR Code), and then scan the QR code that appears to access the online user's manual.

Service restrictions

Services for Kia Pay are offered using a mobile communication network. As a result, depending on the state of the mobile communication network, the service may be limited. 

To check the state of mobile communication, look at the network signal strength icon () at the top of the screen.

When there are four or more signal bars in the icon, it is advised to use the service.

Access to Kia Pay may be limited in the following places based on the network signal condition.

within a structure or tunnel

Mountains or a forest

Highway next to a cliff

a region with a high density of buildings

highway underpass or multi-level highway

According to the service provider's network coverage policy, there is a communication shadow area.

Paying the fuel charge

With the registered card, you can pay for fuel at any gas station that is a Kia Pay affiliate.

Only affiliates will accept Kia Pay

Kia Pay can be selected from the All Menus screen to locate and set a nearby affiliate as the destination.

Depending on the gasoline type for the car, refuelling payment assistance might not be accessible.

Press Kia Pay on the All Menus screen.

Either of the following techniques can be used to navigate to the Kia Pay screen.

Select a gas station from a list of associated stations with information that allows Kia Pay to be used as the destination. 

When your car pulls up to the chosen petrol station, the Kia Pay notification window opens. Press Yes to open the payment screen from the window.

Press the sort criteria and switch to the desired choice to reorder a list of search results.

• From the map screen, choose a Kia Pay-affiliated gas station that is close by. • Press to open the payment screen.

The information about gas stations that is shown on the map screen might not be accurate.

Kia Pay affiliates are visible on the map if POI display mode is activated.

Press Pay after entering the fuel type, price and amount, payment method, and points to be used.

Choose Fill-up in Price/Fuel Amount to refuel.

If you choose Fill Up or the requested Price/Fuel Amount is less than the actual amount of fuel you used to refuel the car, there might be restrictions on how you can spend your points.

Make sure to register your membership details through the Kia Pay App in order to use your membership points. Please refer to "Registering and authorising membership."

Each card company's policy will determine how points can be accumulated and used.

To finish the payment, enter your payment password.

The registered credit card will be cancelled if you enter the wrong password three times in a row.

After paying for your purchase in accordance with the type of gas station, fill up your car.

If a gas station allows self-filling

Press CARPAY on the injector screen, then key in the last four digits of the vehicle's licence plate. Start filling by selecting the order details in the search list.

 If it's a regular petrol station

The attendant begins filling as soon as you inform them that you paid with Kia Pay.

Paying for parking fee

In any parking lot affiliated with Kia Pay, you can pay the parking cost using the registered card.

Only affiliates will accept Kia Pay.

Kia Pay can be selected from the All Menus screen to locate and set a nearby affiliate as the destination.

Press Kia Pay on the All Menus screen.

Set one of the parking garages or lots on the list of associated parking lots with information where Kia Pay is accepted as the destination.

An affiliate parking lot's basic/extra charge information is displayed when your car pulls into the lot.

Press the sort criteria and switch to the desired choice to reorder a list of search results.

When the payment notification window pops up after you turn on the car for departure, select Yes.

On the map screen, choose the Kia Pay affiliate parking lot, and then push to access the parking payment screen.

After verifying the parking price and choosing a payment method, click Pay.

Enter your payment password after choosing which points or discount coupon to use to complete the transaction.

Verify that your payment has been received at the bill-paying kiosk before leaving the parking garage or lot.

To make a partial payment after choosing a paper discount coupon, present the coupon at the bill-paying booth or kiosk while leaving. 

Depending on the credit card company's policies, it may take two to three business days to acquire partial payment cancellation information. 

Contact the credit card company's customer care department if getting cancellation data is not possible.

Each card company's policy will determine how points can be accumulated and used.

You will need to pay the additional price at the billing centre if leaving the parking garage or lot takes longer than expected.

National merit, faithful taxpayer benefit, and other parking fee discounts are entered in the iParking App and are reflected in the payment amount.

Visit the Kia Members website to view the details you need to use the Kia Pay service, including a description of the service, a list of affiliates, and contact information.
